Update 12/28/21

Good morning! Today I’ve been in coordination with my other cousin, Rita, and she’s been coordinating with my mom and Manang Katy for the next delivery. It’s so nice to get more help on the Philippines side. We can always use all the help we can get.

My mom has decided to get completely on board with us which has been really exciting. As I mentioned in the 12/24 entry, my mom is trying to see about getting the containers back from the families. By doing so, we can potentially distribute even more water with the money we are gathering. We’ll know more after our 12/30/21 delivery.

To see if we can get the containers back to be refilled, what my mom is having Rita do is to stencil and spray paint one side with “MENEZ USA” and then putting a plastic sleeve on the other side with this label I created inside of it. We decided that 2 labels printed on one A4 sheet would be the best way to do this. On that label, Rita is going to handwrite the donor names.

For the first delivery, since this is going to our hometown, I wanted to start off by using funds that family members have donated. The money that The Mantra Co + Kuyawear, Al & Richelle Menez, Cassandra Menez, Krizia Medenilla, and Emile & Xandra McQueen have donated will be the funds we use for this first delivery to Himamaylan.

Next up and before our first delivery, I’ll be creating a graphic to say “Thank you” to all our donors and email them out to everyone who has donated thus far. I can’t even explain how grateful I am to all of you.
